This event hall in Midtown Wimbish needed quite a bit of work. With many years of use and little renovation, you could say that we gave it some much needed love and care. Our team worked with the proprietors to restore water damaged drywall and ceiling, install new moldings, and repaint the entire event hall to give the place a new look and feel.
Water damage to drywall can be dangerous for people within the building. Water damage can create an environment for bacteria and mold. Prolonged exposure to an environment like this can lead to allergic reactions and even disease in extreme cases. In this case, we found that replacing the water damaged part of the drywall was easier and safer than trying to repair it. We cut out the water damaged drywall and replaced it, making sure that the finished result was seamless and unnoticeable to ensure a perfect finish. We also sealed the cracks in the ceiling.
Next, our team installed brand new moldings around the doors, windows, and along the bottom of each wall. Lastly, we painted the entire event hall with Sherwin-Williams superpaint. We chose this paint because of its easy application as well as the fact that it’s a paint and primer all in one. This paint is also excellent in high traffic areas and can easily be cleaned with a little scrubbing. It provides a lasting impression with vibrant colors that last for many years. This paint makes interior painting a breeze, leaving this Wimbish job with amazing results!
